Peer Review
This journal ensures the scientific quality, rigor, and objectivity of all published research articles through an external evaluation process under the double-anonymous peer review (Double-Blind) model. In this system, the identities of both the authors and the reviewers remain strictly confidential throughout the entire evaluation process.
1. Stages of the Evaluation Process
The editorial workflow for received manuscripts consists of the following mandatory phases:
- Preliminary Review (Desk Review): The Editorial Team conducts an initial assessment within a maximum of two weeks after manuscript submission. The work is checked to ensure compliance with the journal’s Aims & Scope, formatting guidelines, and ethical standards (including originality analysis using anti-plagiarism software). Submissions that fail to meet these baseline criteria will be rejected immediately without entering external review.
- Reviewer Assignment: Manuscripts passing the preliminary review are sent to at least two (2) external and independent reviewers who are experts in the specific field of the study and unaffiliated with the publishing institution or the editorial board.
- Evaluation Criteria: Reviewers critically analyze aspects such as originality, relevance, methodological rigor, clarity of argument, validity of results, and the currency of bibliographic references.
- Editorial Decision: Based on the reviewers' reports, the Editor-in-Chief will make one of the following decisions:
- Accept submission (as is, no revisions required).
- Revisions required (minor changes, does not require a new round of review).
- Resubmit for review (major changes, the revised manuscript will return to the peer reviewers).
- Decline submission (rejection).
2. Resolution of Discrepancies
In cases where the evaluations of the first two reviewers are contradictory (e.g., one approves and the other declines), the editor will assign a third independent blind reviewer to break the tie and guarantee a fair and impartial final judgment.
3. Transparency and Anti-Endogeny Policies
To safeguard the integrity of the journal and avoid conflicts of interest:
- Members of the Editorial Team or the Scientific Committee may submit manuscripts; however, the review process will be managed by an external editor completely independent of the authoring member. In compliance with international DOAJ guidelines, the proportion of articles authored by internal journal members will not exceed 25% in any given published issue.
- The average turnaround time from manuscript receipt to the final editorial decision is approximately 2 to 4 weeks.
