Copyright Terms
The copyright and licensing conditions of the journal are governed by a fundamental principle of open access to scientific knowledge. By publishing in this journal, the following terms are established:
- Retention of Rights: Authors retain the copyright to their work and grant the journal the right of first publication.
- Distribution License: Published articles are simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International (CC BY NC ND 4.0). This license permits third parties to share, copy, distribute, and transmit the work free of charge, provided that the original authorship and initial publication in this journal are explicitly acknowledged.
- Additional Contractual Agreements: Authors are permitted to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional or thematic repository, or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in this journal.
Self-Archiving Policy (Repository Deposit)
The journal actively supports self-archiving and permits authors to deposit all versions of their manuscript in institutional repositories, thematic repositories, or personal websites. The permissions based on the document status are detailed below:
| Manuscript Version | Deposit Permission | Required Conditions |
|---|---|---|
| Pre-print (Version submitted before peer review) | Allowed | It is recommended to update the record with the formal link (DOI) once the article is published. |
| Post-print (Version accepted after peer review) | Allowed | Must include an explicit mention that the document has been accepted for publication. |
| Version of Record (Final publisher's layout PDF) | Allowed (Highly recommended) | The full bibliographic citation and a direct link to the article's permanent identifier (URL/DOI) on the journal's website must be included. |
This policy ensures that authors can maximize the visibility, dissemination, and impact of their research immediately after publication, fully complying with the requirements of international funding agencies and the indexing criteria of global directories such as DOAJ.
