IMJETA values the role of reviewers in the peer-review process that enables us to publish high-quality materials in a timely way.
The reviewers are highly qualified academics and scientists, for this, IMJETA value their ethics and confidentiality to:
- Maintain the principle of impartiality and respect for gender identity, nationality, race, religion and belief, as well as non-discrimination of any kind.
- To declare any conflicts of interest before beginning the review.
- To keep the entire content of the article confidential.
- Not use data, ideas, or results from the article before publication.
- To accept for review only articles in which they have sufficient expertise.
- Submit their reviews using the online form provided on the portal.
- To provide a clear recommendation and justifications for their recommendation for either acceptance or rejection of an article.
- Make clear, respectful and constructive observations.
Reviewers should consider:
Relevance and Originality
- The topic is relevant to the journal's scope.
- The work provides new insights or a novel approach.
- The literature review is up-to-date and properly cited.
Methodology
- The methodology is appropriate to address the objectives or hypotheses.
- Procedures and samples are described in sufficient detail for replication.
- Data analysis is correct and well justified.
Clarity and Structure
- The manuscript is well-structured (Introduction, Methodology, Results, Discussion, Conclusions).
- The language is clear, precise, and free from grammatical errors.
- Tables, figures, and charts are relevant, properly labeled, and well presented.
Results and Conclusions
- The results are presented objectively.
- The conclusions are supported by the data and analyzes presented.
- Theoretical and/or practical implications are discussed.
Compliance with Guidelines
- The manuscript follows the journal's formatting and citation guidelines.
- There is no evidence of plagiarism or self-plagiarism.
- Images and data comply with publication ethics.
Final Recommendation
- Accept
- Accept with minor revisions
- Resubmit for review
